love/hate

If it's part of your programming to kill me
because I am not one of you, then so be it.
But before you do, you need to know that
I love you. I love you.

And if there is even an ounce of your will
that can overcome that programming,
then all the better because to know love
is to know god. And there is no finer gift
one can give to another.
